Eligibility and Admission Requirements
Basically, in Indian education system, undergraduate courses take 3-5 years to complete. In the case of courses in science, social science, humanities and arts degree will be conferred on the student after three years of education.
On the other hand, for professional courses in pharmacy, engineering or architecture, bachelor’s degree is conferred to the student after four or five years of education respectively. Nigerian ordinary level certificate of WAEC, NECO and NABTEB are accepted, though this depends on the university. Nigeria O/L results of WAEC, NECO and NABTEB are equivalent of Indian 10 +2.

The Indian Scholastic Assessment or India-SAT is now PRAGATII – Performing Rating of Applicants through Global Aptitude Test for Indian Institutes. In the previous years, the award of scholarship/fees waiver depends on the applicant performances on the aptitude test conducted by EDCIL, the organization responsible for implementing the Study in India programme. The PRAGATII scores usually serves as criterion to shortlist the meritorious students for the allocation of scholarships. The medium of the paper would be in English. If the test will be conducted for year 2022, we shall provide past questions of PRAGATII for all our applicants through one of our associate institutions. Also, some of our associate institutions do provide couching and mock exam for students.

We strongly advise applicant especially those who are interested in IT and Medical related courses to use the opportunity to pursue any of these courses because they are not being offered in most of Nigerian universities.
